Villa Aurora Apartment is a newly refurbished apartment within a traditional Sicilian character property. The villa was built at the turn of the 20th century and is an extremely attractive character property set in a private garden in a quiet residential area of the town.
This property is ideally located in a quiet area of town set back from the road, but only a 10 minute walk from the town centre. As a historical town this charming location offers many interesting things to do and see. Taormina is world famous for its Roman-Greek amphitheatre which regular hosts different concerts and festivals. This town is ideal also for shopping as it offers an array of locally crafted products as well as luxury goods.
With only a 10 minute stroll from the Apartment Aurora you will also reach the cable car station in town which enables you to easily and quickly access Taormina’s beautiful beaches. On these beaches you also have the opportunity of hiring umbrella and sun loungers so that you can soak up the wonderful Sicilian climate
Apartment Aurora is located only a few metres away from where the writer D.H. Lawrence was based. Lawrence fell in love with Taormina and stayed and lived here for over 10 years
This rental property boasts typical Sicilian features as well as contemporary touches. Through a private entrance you access this light spacious apartment (90 m2), each room has large terraced doors onto the large private terrace (30 m2) which boasts breathtaking sea views with mainland Italy visible in the distance and views onto the historical town centre of Taormina. The newly fitted and appointed kitchen is fully equipped with brand new electric appliances (including dishwasher, fridge/freezer, hob, oven and grill ).
On your arrival you will be welcomed to the property by the owner Nino, who will be able to answer any questions you may have as well as provide you with up to date information about local events, excursions, shopping, beaches etc for Taormina and the rest of the island.
Also, on arrival you will find a welcoming Sicilian Hamper including wine, fruit and other essentials to ensure your holiday gets off to a relaxing start!
Taormina is ideally located to be able to access most parts of the island should you be feeling adventurous – Etna, Piazza Amerina, Agringento,Siracusa are all within striking distance.

LOCATION
The apartment is a 8 minute stroll to the village centre where you will be spoilt for choice for restaurants, bars and shops. Taormina boasts many interesting things to do and see including regular concerts and film festival at the world famous amphitheatre.
A 9 minute walk will also get you to the cable car and a lift straight down to the beautiful beaches. Hire an umbrella and sunchair and soak up the wonderful Sicilian climate. Taormina is ideally located to be able to access most parts of the island should you be feeling adventurous – Etna, Piazza Amerina, Agringento,Siracusa are all within striking distance.
