So this week in VB Zoom Cookery school Chef Elvira and I will be challenging ourselves to even more Sicilian Deliciousness. Pasta made from scratch, flavoursome ideas for humble vegetables and the iconic Pasta all Sarde Sauce. And we will be showing, and explaining, every step of these dishes in the comfort of your own home.

Stuffed peppers are often thought of as a Greek dish but the Sicilian ones have bread as a base rather than rice.  So – Sicily it is and these stuffed vegetables are fantastic! But not only peppers – tomatoes and artichokes too. Elevate some simple vegetables into a versatile starter, side or hearty snack. The flavours will earn their place on your table

And then Elvira and I will make the  famous Pasta alle Sarde . One of the most respective Sicilian pasta sauces. Pinenuts – rasins – tomatos – saffron – fresh anchovies or sardines – wild fennel leaves and saffron. Nothing not to like really.
